The pH is the measure of the acidity level of the water and must be between 7 and 7.6. If it is below 7, the water becomes irritating for swimmers and harmful for the pool and its filtration system. Beyond 7.6, the treatment loses its effectiveness and algae and scale may appear on the walls of your pool.
